I’ve long been a fan of Orla Kiely bags and been wanting to feature some of her collection. This current talk about her home line for Target to be launched in February {read here, here, and here}, is a timely reminder for me to feature her bags here.
Orla Kiely, an Irish designer based in London, is best known for her work in fashion, but has extended her design line to cover the home too. Some of you may not have heard her name, but I’m sure you’ve seen her trademark leaf pattern on bags and home accessories.
I’m eyeing the white giant clasp bucket bag (image below) and the hand-embroidered with 100% wool tapestry bag (image above). Aren’t they cute? Currently, some of her bags are on sale. Hurry along to check out her online store!

Orla Kiely is an amazing designer and I just adore everything she makes! I haven’t had the chance to view her Target collection yet but I bet it’s fabulous!
i’ve had a chance to see her handbags up close and i’ve got to say im impressed. the price tag too, but hopefully the target collection will be much more affordable. I would love a set of the leaf print.
