This unique calendar will remind you of the days that have gone by, and make you realize how precious your time is. As there is no “off” button to this calendar, it will continuously shred up a paper roll displaying the days of the year, taking 24 hours to completely shred up one day. The torn strips are left at the bottom of the calendar, ready to be disposed and recycled.

Actually it is not noisy at all. The motor inside just gets a quick “ping” every once in while (in this prototype, every 10 min) to shred a tiny bit of paper….What you hear is merely a “tick”.
