When I first saw these cute stuffed woolen seats, it didn’t occur to me that they were knitted by hand. These stylish textural ottomans or flock poufs, are hand-knitted by Netherlands designer, Christien Meindertsma, using giant knitting needles she specifically crafted for this purpose. The pouf has an inner 100% cotton lining that keeps the polyester fill in place.
Available in light and dark grey at dwr, each adorable pouf is made from 100% wool yarn, and comes with a card indicating the sheep and flock where the wool came from.
I am an avid knitter and knit teacher and I canNOT even imagine how difficult it would be to just hold onto and finish this kind of project. These are over the top gorgeous!
