how to display wall art

I’m used to displaying frames horizontally in a row, positioned more or less at the same level, at equal intervals. But now, I’m ready to try something more random, fun and unpredictable, such as these inspiring wall display {via sfgirlbybay}.

I adore the top left decor, where empty frames are used as art pieces on the wall. The one with round frames is pretty, and of course the many eyes add a whimsical touch. Letters and different sized frames also make an interesting display, don’t you think? So is the one with many photographs above the fireplace!
