I recently stumbled upon Matte Stephens‘ gouache painting and instantly fell in love with his endearing and refreshing artwork. Matte is a Portland-based artist who is inspired by modern design and the works of Charles and Ray Eames, and Alexander Girard. I love his whimsical rendition of Charles Eames as a log.
