I have to get my hands on Penguin’s Great Food series, which brings “the finest food writing from the last 400 years.” I’m particularly fond of the gorgeous book covers by London-based award-winning designer Coralie Bickford-Smith.

I love every single cover design of the entire 20-book collection, that I can’t decide on a few to feature here. Each book in the series features a beautiful ceramic vessel, that is relevant to the book, the period it was written in, and the kitchen implements used for the recipes in the book.
