I was recently introduced to Karin Olsen styling, and immediately loved her prop works, which include interior, still life, food/entertaining and fashion. Incidentally, she is also the one who styled the interesting typewriter picture which I so loved and had blogged about last week. Check out her portfolio here.

A lovely wedding down on my street yesterday got me into a floral mode. And I spent much of this morning browsing Livia Cetti’s lovely portfolio of event styling and unique paper flowers. Simply beautiful!

As an ardent IKEA fan and a newbie at styling, I’m happy beyond words with Swedish interior stylist Lo Bjurulf’s fabulous styling featuring IKEA’s new products. I am always so excited to receive an issue of Toast’s seasonal magazines in the mail. They use the most awe-inspiring backdrops for their photo shoots, bringing out the unique character in each of their products. In fact, I don’t even think of them as products anymore, but gorgeous works of art. Check out the spring summer 2010 collection.

As a child, I used to stash away my grandmother’s vintage thread spools for my craft projects. However, it has never occurred to me to use them as containers. I like this styled picture by French stylist Vania Leroy-Thuillier, who uses wooden thread spools as mini bud vases.

A bunch of these mini vases will make a great table centerpiece, perfect for weddings or dinner parties! {via}
